Grand Prix Turkey is held on Istanbul Park also known as Istanbul Racing Circuit or initially “Istanbul Otodrom”. The circuit is located in Pendik at the east-site of the city on the Asian side of Istanbul. Inaugurated on 21 August 2005, Bernie Ecclestone called the Istanbul Racing Circuit the best Formula 1 race track in the world.
Istanbul Park has a total length of 5.3 km (3.3 mi) long, containing 16 corners and has a normal wide course.
